Mother's Day In San Vicente, 2013

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY 2103

Every year, Rancho Santa Fe Mexico Mission participates in a community celebration honoring the mothers of our town.  This event includes efforts from the local police department, museum, and several other area businesses.  I am not aware that other churches join in the festivities, but we make sure that we are present and counted for when it comes to being a blessing to the moms of our little pueblo.  We share gifts, foods and even give away Christian CDs to help let the moms know that Jesus loves them and appreciates the great and noble work they do being mothers.

Here are several video segments that will help let you see what it is that we do and what took place on the 16th of May, 2013.

Mexico celebrates Mother's Day on the 10th of May but with schedules and plans, this actual event took place on the 16th of the month.  A couple hundred moms came to the central park in front of the police station and drank punch, ate some goodies and got gifts.  There was a lot of music and were even pinatas to entertain the children while the mothers had their party in another area.

All-in-all, the Lord blest all of our combined efforts and poured out many blessings  upon these, all-too-often, unsung heroes of the home and family.  God Bless All who helped to make this a very joyous occasion.  Amen!  Now, on to Father's Day, 2013.
